What is Foamex Board? Foamex, also known as foam board, foam core board, or PVC foam board, is made by compressing PVC, resulting in a lightweight, durable material with a smooth finish. It is commonly used for affordable indoor signage. What is the maximum size for my Foamex board? While your Foamex board can be as large as you need, individual boards are supplied at a maximum sheet size of 8 x 4 ft (2438mm x 1219mm). Orders exceeding these dimensions will be split into sections.

Please Note: Although we can produce at this maximum size we can only ship panels in a maximum size of 1800mm x 1100mm – if shipping option is selected then we will split the panels to suit these shipping restrictions. Otherwise please select the collect form store or dedicated vehicle shipping option.

What thickness options are available for Foamex boards? We offer Foamex boards in 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm thicknesses. What resolution do you print at for Foamex boards? All our Foamex signs are printed at a high resolution of 1440dpi in full colour. How do you drill holes into Foamex boards? Drill holes are placed 20mm in from each corner using a 6mm drill bit. Please ensure critical artwork elements do not occupy these areas. Can Foamex boards be cut to custom shapes? Yes, we can cut Foamex boards to custom shapes. Please provide cut paths along with your artwork file for our cutter to follow. Your design must be compatible with Foamex, and we will offer guidance if there are any issues. How do I place an order for a Foamex sign? Simply select your options and upload your artwork online, or choose our design service on the product page and proceed through checkout. What format should I use for my artwork? PDF file format in CMYK colour spacing with 5mm bleed. Can I upload multiple images for a single order? Yes, if you’re ordering multiple Foamex boards of the same size, you can upload as many images as needed for your order through our uploader after placing your order. Do you offer color matching services? Our printers produce images in CMYK format, so artwork provided in this format will be printed as specified. We also offer personalized color matching services. Please contact our sales office for more information and pricing. Can you make changes to my artwork? Yes, we can edit your artwork. Choose one of our design service packages, which includes either 1 or 2 hours of design time, based on your selection. Can I collect my order from your location? Yes, you can opt to collect your order or arrange for collection from our factory in Walsall WS8 by selecting this option during checkout.

Where do you deliver?

All delivery prices on our website are based on an overnight courier service to UK addresses.

The following postcodes incur additional costs: AB31-56, BT1-94, FK19-21, GY1-9, HS1-9, IM1-99, IV1-63, JE1-4, KA27-28, KW1-17, PA20-80, PH1-50, TR21-25, ZE1-3, PO30-41.

If you require international shipping, we are happy to provide a quotation if you email us.

How do I track my order?

You will receive an email once your order has been shipped from our warehouse containing your tracking number.

Do I need to sign for my order?

Yes - our courier will not deliver parcels without a signature unless you have pre-requested to leave with a neighbour.

When will I get my order?

Our website provides you with a delivery date based on the product(s) and the time you order, the service level you select, and on the assumption we will receive print-ready artwork at the time of order.

Please be aware that any delay in providing print-ready artwork WILL affect these dates.

Please note: As standard, we send all deliveries on an overnight courier service. Although standard courier services are 95% successful, this is not a guaranteed service.

We will not accept liability for costs arising due to delayed or lost consignments. This is out of our control.

We recommend all time-sensitive deliveries are sent on a direct dedicated courier. This can be selected at the checkout stage and is calculated based on mileage. This option will be a dedicated vehicle that will collect from our factory and delivery directly to you, on your requested day, at a location and time that you choose.

Flat Sheet, wall mount light boxes & general size restrictions:

Due to restrictions set by the couriers, we are unable to send flat sheets/items over 2m in length or 1.m in width - Any sheet sizes ordered over this size will need to be split.

We can offer larger sheets but these will be treated as a special order and will incur a minimum order cost and will either require a dedicated vehicle for delivery (quoted at £1.70 per loaded mile) or to be collected.

Lightboxes over this size will either need to be collected or sent on a dedicated vehicle (charges below) - Sometimes where possible we can split the unit and send in sections for assembly on delivery.

Large flat sheets are subject to increased shipping prices. These are due to the increased packaging required to ship them safely. These extra charges will be reflected in the shipping price.

Attempts & Re-Delivery

If the delivery fails due to the addressee being closed or unavailable the delivery company will normally re-attempt the next day. If the re-delivery fails then the consignment will either be held at the depot for collection or sent back to base. Re-delivery after this will be charged at the same rate a the first delivery attempt.
